Experience The Excitement & Wonder of TEDx In The Woodlands.

A few months ago, we released a blog post about Ted.com by Leslie Nelson to inform you, our readers, about this extremely interesting and giant community involving people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world.

Today, REEP would like to share with you more information about an upcoming TEDx Youth event, which will be happening here in the Greater Houston area, and to encourage you to attend. There’s still time to register!

On January 7th, 2012 the second TEDx event in The Woodlands goes live in the same beautiful venue, the Music Hall. This event’s theme is “Imaginate – Imagine & Create“.  Both adults and mature youth are invited to attend. Over 15 adult and youth speakers and performers will share how they “Imaginate” a better world.

Whether you’re 14 or 104 years old, join the “Imaginate” team! Only 100 seats are available and on a first-come first-served basis. So register early.

Thanks to REEP for posting this. Please note that there are 23 speakers and performers now, both adults and youths from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. One of the speakers is Kap McWhorter, who is a regular contributor to this REEP Blog.

Take a look at the updates speakers/performers roster: http://tedxyouththewoodlands.com/program/
